Comfort, Comfort, Comfort August 21, 2010 jpnook I've purchased the ExOfficio Boxer and Boxer Briefs. They are both extremely comfortable. Ditto on all the other positive reviews. I've notice some comparison between the material and comfort of this brand vs. the Under Armor brand. Frankly, I'm a big fan of the UA tees and the entire range of products. But I like the Exofficio boxer and boxer briefs much better. The boxer are about 1-2 inches longer and better made. I like the extra length. The UA is only 4 inches in the inseam - too short and nerdy. The boxer brief is not as tight around my body as UA. In both cased, the elastic waist band is also more comfortable - doesn't pull as much. You can't go wrong with UA - but ExOfficio is the best. I've since purchased several more of Boxer shorts and Boxer Briefs. I also like their Tees. It's all pricy, but well worth it. You'll love them too.
After Year One. July 9, 2010 Garrett Mcconnell (Lincoln, NE) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have to say that these blew away my expectations. I have alternated two pairs of these for one year straight. I picked up a pair of these boxers originally for a summer spent working-on/driving boats in New Hampshire. To clean them I would shower in them and hang-dry (they would be completely dry within 4 hours, wearable within 2.5 hours). After one year, these boxers proved their weight in gold countless times (showering in the gym, and having a clean pair drying in your locker makes your trip to the gym easier). For traveling, the boxers are unmatched--with two pairs I never once had a problem with having a clean pair of boxers, and the ability to dry quickly in wet environments is a godsend. After one year, the boxers wore away at the same spot--the seam on the very bottom of the boxers. On both pairs the stitching frayed, but the fabric is completely fine (so yes after one year, they are still perfectly fine with very little sewing). I am amazed at how comfortable these boxers are, this fabric is stretchy but incredibly soft. Hands down these are the best boxers I have ever owned, and have recommended these to all my friends (when the subject comes up). I used these originally for their fast-drying and anti-microbial abilities, but the thing that convinced me to wear these long after necessity was their comfort. I will wear exofficio boxers for the rest of my life because they are far more comfortable than any cotton, nylon, or silk boxers I have ever worn. Recommended to the highest degree.
The best travel underwear ever June 5, 2010 R. Reed (Boone, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have three pairs of these that I use when I go on vacation. They are light, soft, comfortable and keep me dry through long days of trudging through the Yucatan or the Louvre. The will NOT however dry overnight. I wash them out at night, hang them to dry and in about 24 hours they are ready. Thats why I keep three pairs. They are comfortable enough that I am contemplating buying enough to wear everyday, but the price has so far kept them reserved for travel. Still I cannot recommend them highly enough. I like them much better than the boxer brief which I have had chafing problems with, no such problems with the boxers.
These are the best boxer shorts I have ever had May 22, 2010 Phillip Pliuskonis 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An excellent boxer, one of the most comfortable I have ever worn, kept me cool and dry while primitive camping in Moab, UT. Definitely planning on buying another pair or two.
A whole new world May 17, 2010 Susan B. Clark 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband absolutely loves his ExOfficio's - so much so that he now owns 10 pairs! I originally bought him a pair for a trip we were taking, thinking they'd be comfortable for a long day of walking. After trying them out for a couple days, he's completely stopped wearing his usual cotton boxers and wears these everyday.
